Dear diary,
let me fly and...
PI. Everyone is going crazy because of it. it is also the reason why i am still online at this time and yet to study for my maths test.
we were grouped into our PW groups today. as amanda and me had guessed, we were numbered off from the namelist. but, unpredictably, the numbering off started with 2 instead of 1. im pretty happy with my group. Jody, jannah, clifford and dallas. hope we will have fun doing the pw! =D all the commonwealthians(or commoners, which people like to call) are in pairs in each group. which means ade+sihui, amanda+cheryl, Ttk+mabel, me+clifford.
and i found out that the purple character in mcdonalds is called 'grimace'. simin suddenly asked for its name during training and i realised that i could name the rest (birdie, ronald, hamburglar) except for the purple triangle thing. the question was stuck in my head and so, i did some research on it... xD
apparently, the characters are not loved even though i personally find them cute. these are the positive things on them...
Ronald McDonald is much, much more than just a clown. He's magical. Funny. Smart. Friendly. Caring. And most of all the best pal a kid could imagine having. Ronald is the unofficial leader of the McDonaldland gang. He initiates most of the adventures and gets everyone together.
Grimace is big, loving, fuzzy purple fellow who's Ronald McDonald's best friend.
Birdie is a bright, perky, enthusiastic character that loves getting up early to start the day with breakfast at McDonald's.
Hamburglar is a fun-loving prankster and McDonald's resident mischief-maker. He loves McDonald's hamburgers and cheeseburgers more than anything and we will do almost anything to get one.

and i confess, even though i feel soft toys are wasteful items and that the money spent on it could be used on more useful stuff like feeding the people of africa. i ate happy meals and values meals to get certain mcdonalds toys like the bears.
